Objects and Reasons.
1. In his report on the need for reorganisation of the Medical and Sanitary Services of the Colony the Director of those Services recommends that the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance (No. 1 of 1903) which deals with building construction, sanitation, infectious diseases control, food control, etc., etc., should be broken up into a number or Ordinances each dealing with its particular branch of the Public Health Complex.
2. This Ordinance contains all the provisions of No. 1 of 1903 which it is considered suitable to group under sanitation.
3. A Table of Correspondence attached to the Ordinance shows the origin of the various sections.
